UTEP Men's Basketball Falls Short in CUSA Opener Against LA Tech
In their Conference USA opener, the UTEP Miners faced a tough loss against Louisiana Tech, ending the game at 75-63. UTEP struggled early, falling behind by 20 points before attempting a comeback with a 26-12 run around halftime. Key players included Kaseem Watson, who scored 16 points, and Elijah Jones with 11 points, both extending their double-digit scoring streaks. Despite winning the rebounding battle, UTEP's shooting woes, especially from three-point range, hindered their chances. The Miners will look to bounce back as they continue their road trip against Missouri State on January 2.
