Astronomers Discover Ancient Galaxy Remnants in Milky Way's Stars

A recent study has revealed that a cluster of unusual stars may be remnants of a dwarf galaxy, named Loki, which the Milky Way consumed approximately 10 billion years ago. This finding could significantly alter our understanding of the Milky Way's evolution. The researchers identified 20 metal-poor stars located about 7,000 light-years from Earth, suggesting they originated from the same ancient galaxy.
