Astronomers Discover Ancient Galaxy Remnants in Milky Way's Stars

A recent study has revealed that a cluster of unusual stars may be remnants of a dwarf galaxy, named Loki, which the Milky Way consumed approximately 10 billion years ago. The researchers identified 20 metal-poor stars located about 7,000 light-years from Earth, suggesting they originated from the same ancient galaxy.
