Julio Iglesias Responds to Serious Allegations of Abuse and Exploitation

Spanish singer Julio Iglesias has publicly denied allegations made by two former employees who accuse him of human trafficking, sexual assault, and labor rights violations. The women, who worked for Iglesias in the Dominican Republic and Bahamas between January and October 2021, claim they experienced various forms of violence, including sexual and psychological abuse. Iglesias expressed his sorrow over the accusations, stating they are entirely false and have caused him great distress. He has hired attorney José Antonio Choclán to assist in his defense.
