Chloe, a two-and-a-half-year-old rescue dog from El Paso, has made history by becoming the first dog to earn the U.S. Border Patrol Critical Incident Response K9 certification. This achievement highlights the importance of providing support and comfort to agents and their families during challenging times. After being rescued from the streets, Chloe underwent 10 weeks of rigorous training at the USBP Canine Academy, where she stood out among 58 dogs to earn her badge. Chloe has already begun her mission, visiting a youth camp in Louisiana to help children cope with grief. An Instagram account has been created to document her journey as a certified K9.
